A stray dog approaches people and begs them to save her puppies.

A mother would do everything for her children, including asking complete strangers for assistance.

Serbia has severe winters with low temps and a lot of snowfall. A stray dog trying to rear three pups is not the right environment for it.

A mother dog was hiding in a drain pipe in an attempt to keep her pups safe and warm. When the locals saw the stray dog, they phoned Dog Rescue sanctuary, the biggest no-kill animal sanctuary in Serbia. The majority of the pipes were covered in snow when two rescuers set out to try and locate the dogs.

They were startled to see one was uncovered and to see paw tracks in the snow. The stray dog ran up to the guys asking for aid as soon as they got out of the vehicle. When the rescuers petted her, she wagged her tail. At last, help had come, and mother was overjoyed.

When rescuers looked down the sewer pipe, they saw the three pups curled up together. They took a broom and gently pushed them out of the pipe after trying to talk them out but failing since they were too scared. They dubbed Mama Hera and put her in the vehicle to warm up in the meantime.

They reunited the three pups with their mother after they had all been saved. After being separated, all of the dogs were returned to the shelter in search of warmth and food. They won’t go without food ever again and will get all the veterinary attention they need.

Hera kissed her rescuers and waved her tail ceaselessly to express her gratitude. The three puppies—two boys and one girl—as well as their courageous mother will ultimately be placed for adoption.

Currently seeking permanent homes are more than 300 rescued dogs and kittens at the shelter. Every animal will be cared for until they find loving homes; none will be put to death to make room for others.
