About Kid Cudi
He moved to New York City in 2004 to make his musical debut. Kid Cudi was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. When working at the BAPE store in New York, Cudi met his soon-to-be mentor, Kanye West. Cudi wasn’t signed at that point, but Kanye got in touch with him in 2008 after hearing his demo and inviting him to join his label, G.O.O.D. music.
In 2008, Kanye’s 808s & Heartbreak album was shaped largely by Kid Cudi, who contributed choruses and co-wrote four of the songs.
In 2009, Cudi released a debut album, Man On The Moon: The End Of Day, forever cementing his place among the world’s most influential rappers. We have compiled a list of Kid Cudi’s best songs.

Aside from that, he vows to never turn on his fans, no matter how many targets are laid against him because of his fame.
11. “Up Up & Away”
The inspiring track, produced by Free School, got Cudi’s attention when he heard the beat. I know what you mean. I mean, this is the last scene on the album. It just concludes everything, it’s beautiful, it’s inspiring, and it just brings such great energy out. It’s like the ‘Wake and Bake’ song.”
10. “Ghost!”
A song called “Ghost!” kicks off Man on the Moon II, samples The Freak Scene’s “My Rainbow Life,” and features co-production by No I.D. Kid Cudi describes enduring life’s tribulations and growing desensitized to them. One question that still puzzles him on the track’s hook is, “When did I become a ghost?
9. “Man On the Moon”
The soothing song was originally recorded by Cudi in 2008 and appeared on his mixtape A Kid Named Cudi. After becoming a fan favorite, the song was included as a bonus track on Scott’s debut album two years later. According to him, “I guess if I was boring, they would love me more/ Maybe if I were simple in mind, everything would be fine.”
8. “Cudi Zone”
The futuristic “Cudi Zone” exudes an outer-space vibe. According to Cudi, a second verse almost never made it into the song because he was unable to come up with it, causing the track to lapse for nearly a year. Generations interviewed him about the verse he had been working on for some time. The verse was so long and intimidating that I could not even think of writing another one, since it was so good. I wasn’t sure if I could top that verse since it was such an amazing rap.” “Definitely one of the best verses I have written.”
7. “Pursuit of Happiness”

The song was produced by Cudder and WZRD compatriot Dot Da Genius.
Cudi explained that when he lived with his uncle in 2006, they beefed because he sent me out without a replacement arrangement, so I was bitter. Cudi continued: ‘Day ‘N’ Nite’ was about the reasons I never apologized for my behavior. I wrote the song to keep myself from doing that.’
