Carnival Cruise Line is doubling the number of sailings it will offer from Norfolk, Virginia next year. The line will be extending its season to a six-month period from May through October, which it says is the first step towards a proposed year-round program from the port starting in 2025.
The new 2023 cruises are now open for booking aboard Carnival Magic, and will include four to 10-day voyages to the Caribbean, Bahamas, Bermuda, and Canada/New England.
In June 2023, Carnival Venezia will begin offering year-round service from New York City. This will allow Carnival Magic to spend the spring and summer season entirely in Norfolk, which it was previously scheduled to split between New York and Virginia.
