Savannah Chrisley revealed she has custody of brother Grayson & niece Chloe after her parents, Todd Chrisley & Julie Chrisley, were sentenced to prison.
Savannah, 25, spoke about her “really painful & really difficult future” without Todd, 53, & Julie, 49, at home during an “Unlocked” podcast episode released Monday, hours before the couple’s fateful court hearing.
“I may Approach home without both of my parents. That’s what the chances are,” the “Growing Up Chrisley” alum said. “That’s the likelihood, & that’s my new normal.
“I Approach home Tuesday, & I have custody of a 16-year-old & a 10-year-old, & we spend our first Thanksgiving not as a family.”
The Sassy cosmetics creator began tearing up, explaining that she has “never been away from” her family over the holidays.
Later in the episode, Savannah called taking over custody of Grayson, 16, & Chloe, 10, the “hardest part” of her mother & father’s legal battle.
“[I”m] trying to navigate how you teach two younger children who aren’t fully developed yet & … get them to underst& the circumstances,” she told her listeners. “That’s a really, really difficult thing.”
The former reality star vowed to give the little ones “love & hugs,” which they “need more than anything right now.”
She did not address her younger brother’s recent car accident, which sent Grayson to the hospital earlier this month.
Todd & Julie were sentenced to 19 years total in prison after being convicted of tax evasion & fraud — 12 years for the patriarch & seven for his wife.
The couple, who were found guilty in June, are also the parents of 26-year-old son Chase. Additionally, Todd shares 33-year-old daughter Lindsie & 31-year-old son Kyle, who is Chloe’s father, with his ex-wife, Teresa Terry.
Kyle has struggled with drug addiction & bipolar disorder over the years, & Todd & Julie obtained full custody of his & ex Angela Johnson’s child in 2016.
“Chloe is our family,” Todd told Us Weekly the following year. “We are glad that the world gets to see such a Gorgeous child grow, explore & Approach into herself so brilliantly through love & respect.”
While Kyle, Chase & Grayson have yet to react to the pair’s sentencing via social media, Lindsie shared an Instagram Story video on Monday of her friends bringing “hugs & champagne” during her “Depraved times.”
As for Savannah, she re-posted a Bible-inspired quote.
“Noah didn’t stop building the ark to explain himself to everyone who doubted & hated on him,” the social media upload read. “Keep building your ark. The rain will do the talking.”
