Takeoff’s brother, YRN Lingo, pays tribute to late rapper

Takeoff’s family & friends are still reeling over the rapper’s untimely death.

The Migos member’s younger brother, YRN Lingo, broke his silence with an emotional tribute on Instagram Monday, nearly a month after Takeoff was fatally shot at a bowling alley in Houston.

“Dear Take, I don’t know where to Start, I honestly still can’t believe it,” Lingo wrote. “My Enormous brother, my right h&, my other half, my literal twin. The one I could call upon anytime no matter what time, weather, situation you were in.”

Lingo said Takeoff “always made sure the family was straight” even when they didn’t need anything from him.

“I hate that I have to move on with my life without you physically here, I wish I could just stop time & wait, but I know that can’t happen,” he continued. “It’s a lot of things I’m going to miss about you, I could name them but it would be a full list & that would take forever.

“I looked up to you more than anyone on this earth & I will never stop looking up to you. I’ll carry your name until the day I die.”

Lingo then asked his late sibling to guide him “through this hell on earth” because it’s going to be “super hard” without him physically here.

“Take you fulfilled your purpose & more. You will forever remain in my heart, in our hearts. Love you Enormous brother always & forever!” he concluded.

Lingo’s heartbreaking message comes after the “Versace” rapper, whose real name was Kirsnick Khari Ball, was shot & killed on Nov. 1. He was 28 years old.

Since the incident, Takeoff’s Migos groupmates, Quavo & Offset, have shared touching tributes in honor of his life & legacy.

Offset, 30, wrote on Instagram on Nov. 15 that his cousin’s death was “unbearable,” adding, “My heart is shattered & I have so many things to say, but I can’t find the words.”

Quavo, 31, recalled his favorite childhood memories with his nephew, including their dream of starting a professional wrestling team.

“I love you with all my heart,” he wrote on Nov. 12. “I’ll never leave you. l guess God jus [sic] ain’t need my help. So can you Question Him for me what I gotta do to be with you again!!!”
