World of Warcraft has been whisking players off to fantastical l&s & telling wild stories for years now, but some players may be interested in crafting their own world, & that is where indie game MMORPG Tycoon 2 comes into play. It is fun to experience the story of Azeroth, but there is nothing quite like being able to construct a br&-new world & control the trajectory of it. VectorStorm Pty Ltd knew this & decided to give players that exact experience by putting them in charge of their own personal MMORPG, & it has worked out pretty well so far.

MMORPG Tycoon 2 puts players in control of a blank slate that they are able to fill up with all sorts of stories & locales. The game makes them the CEO of their own Blizzard & lets them create their own version of World of Warcraft where they are only limited by their imagination, as well as the power of the game. It describes itself as a single-player world-builder, & it has so far delivered on that concept. It may be worth a look for MMO fans who want to try their h& at crafting their own, & could be a great way to kill some time during the wait for World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

MMORPG Tycoon 2 Lets Players Build Their Own MMO

MMORPG Tycoon 2

MMORPG Tycoon 2‘s concept is pretty simple, but also very advanced. The game puts players in control of their very own MMORPG & lets them create whatever they want. The world begins as a blank slate, & players are able to select the first region that they want to edit. Once they activate it, & fill it with some necessary starting buildings like a starting point & graveyard, the AI players Start to flood in. Then, the player has to get to work crafting content for these players to play, & give them a reason to stay subscribed.

Players are given control over almost every single aspect of their MMORPG. They can customize the classes all the way down to the abilities that each can use, they can create all sorts of questlines that bring players across the region, they can customize every aspect of their monsters, & they are given full control over what resides in each region. The game gives players all sorts of different building sets & objects that they can place down, & it gives them the freedom to size & shape them to their liking. The sheer level of customization is insane, & it can lead to all sorts of unique MMORPGs.

Customization is not the only thing in MMORPG Tycoon 2 as each AI subscriber comes with their own wants & needs. Players have to keep them subscribed somehow, & they need to be conscious of the dem&s of the player base so that they do not lose them. There will be calls for interesting zones, new content, new spells, & everything in-between. Players will also have to deal with hackers & cheaters that want to ruin the experience for the other players, & will have to be prepared to deal with all sorts of bugs as well.

As the player base grows & more zones are created, the MMORPG will upgrade. Players are able to select all sorts of different upgrades that will boost the quality of their MMO from unlocking parties & PvP to flight points & vehicles. Not all the upgrades have been implemented yet, but the developer has plans for even more that will help players make the best MMORPG they can. The developer is even working on the ability to create unique dungeons that will only increase the level of customization that the game offers.

MMORPG Tycoon 2 feels like a really nice title for anyone who has enjoyed MMOs like World of Warcraft over the years. It finally lets them craft their own version & lets them customize it down to the minute detail, & It may just be the perfect game for players to check out in-between their dungeon runs.

MMORPG Tycoon 2 is available now in Steam Early Access on PC.
